Things to know on your VFS GLOBAL visit
Accessibility
To assist wheelchair users and customers with restricted mobility, all Visa Application Centres are equipped with access ramps. Customers with disabilities or specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to bring someone to help them. A document ID will be required for the person accompanying the customer with a disability or specific accessibility requirement. Lifts are also available where necessary. The Visa Application Centre staff are happy to assist customers with a disability or restricted mobility.
Parking
Parking at the Visa Application Centre is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If the parking is full, customers are responsible for arranging alternative parking which is easily accessible at Clarence Hotel Nairobi with ample ground and basement parking. Your vehicle will be most secure.
Security regulations
Please note that access to the Visa Application Centre is restricted to visa customers only. The only exceptions to this policy are:
Children less than 16 years of age need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This cannot be a member of the Visa Application Centre staff.
Elderly, medically infirm or disabled customers who require assistance in order to submit their applications. Customers who fall into these categories should advise the security staff on arrival at the Visa Application Centre.
Mobile phones and tablets are permitted in the Visa Application Centre (with the exception of Vientiane, Laos), but they must be switched to silent or vibrate mode. They should be switched on before entering the Visa Application Centre. Devices that cannot be switched on cannot be taken into the Visa Application Centre.
